General
What exactly am I buying?
You’re purchasing a digital PDF file that you can instantly download and use to create printable gift bags or wrapping paper. No physical product is shipped.
Are these suitable for beginners?
Yes! Our templates are designed for all skill levels. With step-by-step written instructions and a video tutorial, you’ll craft with confidence.
How many sizes are included?
Each set includes 5 bag sizes (from small trinkets to taller gifts) plus matching wrapping paper designs.
What’s the difference between cut files and stencil files?
Both are used for screenprinting, but with a key difference:
- The design is cut from adhesive vinyl, weeded, and stuck directly onto the screen. This creates a one-time stencil effect (until you need to use your screen for another design), but the vinyl isn’t reusable in the same way as stencil paper.
- The design is cut from durable mylar sheets to create a reusable stencil that can be placed on the screen again and again for multiple prints.
Printing & Paper
What paper should I use?
We recommend a weight between 80 g/m² to 220 g/m² for gift bags— depending on which weight you choose the gift bag is thick enough to be sturdy, but still printable on most home printers.
Can I use a home printer?
All gift bag files are formatted for A4 and US Letter. For the wrapping paper you can also choose A3.
Just be sure your printer settings are set to “Scale: 100%” or “No Scaling.
My print looks cut off—what should I check?
Make sure you're printing at actual size (100%) and not “fit to page.” Double-check margins are disabled and the correct paper size is selected.
Assembly & Tools
What tools do I need?
Besides a printer, here’s what helps:
- glue or double-sided tape
- a ruler or scoring tool for crisp folds
- revolving punch pliers for perfect ribbon holes
- ribbon, twine, clips or tape for closure
Do you provide instructions?
Yes! Each download includes step-by-step written instructions as well as video tutorials for easy assembly.
